An hour before it was time for photos it started raining cats and dogs and thundering and lightning. Photo session has now been rescheduled for a more, dryer date.
It's gotten prettier since then, it's still a little on the gray side here and there, but the sun is out, and there's a gusty breeze blowing, and the temps are even nice. However, it's going to be a bit muddy and soggy out. We didn't think it was a great idea to have 3 young ones out for family pictures when it's all muddy, so we've opted for a dryer day.
However, I will share some photos from the last time we played at the park!
We all know that recently there have been some nasty storms out and about, thankfully our weather was never severe, but I did snag a few amazing photos of the sky (and a rainbow)!
The sky was gorgeous after the storm! This photo is unedited other than being cropped down a bit and my water mark being added to it. |

I did do a little editing to help the rainbow be seen a little bit better, but other wise, just cropped it down a smidgen and added the water mark. |
It was eerie, the sky literally looked like it was on fire, not edited other than being cropped down a bit and water mark being added. |
My children just celebrated their last day of preschool on Thursday, so proud of them! My daughter even managed to lose her second baby tooth on the last day of preschool. What a way to end the year!
Recently I rescued/briefly fostered a little yorkie named Chico. Poor guy, I helplessly watched him get bounced around from home to home before I was FINALLY able to get someone to listen and just bring him to me. He is now in a FANTABULOUS foster home that totally spoils him. He's getting along great and will be neutered and get all of his shots before going on to a FUR EVER home. A quick photo that was taken of him just moments after I got him and was waiting on my friend to come pick him up. He has since been groomed, I need to get ahold of him again for some new pictures to help him get adopted.
Volunteering with the animal shelter I often get to go on transports, and they are always so much fun. I ride with a hilarious group of ladies that always keep me laughing. I love catching random photos of them.
This weekend is my 10 year high school reunion. I will not be able to attend, so in the spirit of things, sharing a couple of photos from my senior year in high school.

I was captain of the flag team my senior year but always a proud member of the band. |
