Newborn Session -- Atreyu

I just love newborns! They are so sweet and tiny, and new.  Their little baby feetsies get me every single time.  I am lucky enough to currently be living quite close to a newborn that is only a little bit younger than my own nephew.  So of course the little cutie came over for some pictures.

Due to scheduling conflicts he didn't get a fully session, but there will be many more photos later on!

This little guy is full of intense looks, and is not one of those newborns who would prefer to sleep through everything.  He was very much wide awake and curious as to everything going on around him.  Very much the wiggly worm.  Who can get past that cuteness?

The Black and White Project

Have been doing some black and white photos here and there and there has always just been something about black and white photos that are just classic.  There is no distractions from colors, just simple black and white, simply gorgeous.  I've had fun playing around here and there with black and white images and look forward to doing more later.

Truman's Session

I've known Truman, for about 2 years now.  He's the sweetest German Shepherd one could ever hope to meet.  Truman is a big tall handsome guy.  Recently, he had become ill, and it was cancer.  Truman was already up there in years so the cancer took it's toll quickly.  His family decided an end of life session was in order, and so we met and photos were snapped of this handsome boy.  He gave us a few moments of "his old self" and it was so great to see.  Truman will be so greatly missed.  He was greatly loved by his family and so many that came into contact with him.  I know I for one was quite smitten with the sweet fella! I will miss seeing him and giving him scratches behind the ears.

O'Neil Family Session

A couple of weeks ago some of my favorite people from Oklahoma came up to visit for their spring break.  I've known this adorable and wonderful family for literally, years.  We met back in like 2003 or 2004 through, a BLOG of all things! I was a top blogger on Yahoo 360 (which was a blogging community that is no longer around, but I very much miss).  We just kind of "clicked" (so to speak), and have been good friends since then.

Last year Rachael and her darling daughters decided they wanted to MEET us! I was absolutely thrilled, so they drove 8 hours all the way up here and spent several days visiting.

Apparently they decided our family wasn't too crazy and they came back again this year.

While they were here we enjoyed going bowling, and making cupcakes, and just visiting.  We decided that some photos were in order, so that's exactly what we did!

Thanks for coming to visit!

Tiffany's Photo Session

Being a mom is hard work, and often times we go unthanked and can feel unappreciated.  It isn't done on purpose, it just kind of happens.  Being a mom we kind of lose ourselves in the act of BEING mom.  Constantly caring for the children, putting them first, tending to their needs.  Making sure they are fed, clothed, healthy, safe, and succeeding in school.  A lot of times this means that mom doesn't get a chance to do something for HER, something that makes her feel nice.  Which is something every mom certainly deserves.

I have a wonderful friend who is a wonderful mother who is like one of those moms who finds herself giving her all to her family and forgetting to do something that is simply, for her.

I decided it was time to take my friend out and make sure she did something that was for HER.  A little confidence boost, a way to give back and let her know "Hey you, yeh, YOU.  Guess what?  YOU are absolutely AWESOME and don't ever EVER forget it!"

My hair and make up gal Amanda was available a few weeks ago when we had a break of nice weather (finally).  So she went to work and did her hair and makeup magic on my friend.  Then my friend and I went around town to some of my favorite places and just had a blast.  We took pictures, we goofed around, we laughed (maybe even did a little shopping).  We just had a fun time.

Don't forget to tell your mom friends that they matter too.  They are important too, and absolutely beautiful inside and out.  Mother's day is only a month away after all!!

Love ya lady! So glad I can call you my friend.

I am proud to introduce the most adorable little nephew on the face of the planet! My sweet little nephew Xzavier.  I'm so glad I can update my blog with him being my first entry to update :)

I was able to travel to my sister's this past weekend and meet my sweet little nephew Xzavier for the very first time, he was 2 weeks old.  What a sweet heart he is!

He was wonderful during his photos and cooperated nicely! So excited to be able to show off my handsome nephew.  Wishing my little sister and her boyfriend the best with this handsome guy! Good luck!

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge - Smile

My entry for the I Heart Faces photo challenge March 4th-8th.  Curious to know what I Heart Faces is?  Please, check out their Facebook page or their website. This weeks challenge is "SMILE"

What's a better smile than that of a toddler, dressed as Dumbo.  Doesn't get much cuter than that, and she worked for peanuts.  (Ok ok so I didn't REALLY give the toddler peanuts).  This picture was taken just 3 days ago with my little buddy Aurora.  She always has a SMILE for the camera.
