The pool can service a variety of dog sizes, from the tiniest dog to the largest dog! Dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome as long as they are with their owner (and it 's best if they are current on shots).
My gals Molly, and Karmen do not get to get out of the house too often (which is a shame really, as they are good dogs and need to be around people and other dogs more, and the dog park helps but they need to go to other events too, we're working on that).
So my gals went to the Doggy Dive in, and had a really great time. Molly at first was not too excited but Karmen was. However, by the time we left it was the other way around. They had never been swimming before and I was worried they wouldn't know how (I know silly worry) but they swam just fine, even Karmen with her injury on her back leg swam like a champ. Though I think she may have over done herself a bit and she was tired and her leg was a bit stiff that night, but she was back up and running full force a couple hours after we got home.
They had a great time and I can't wait for the next doggy dive in event next August!
Here are a few photos from the event. There were several shelter volunteers there with their pets so that was great to see them! Maybe next year we can manage to take a few of the shelter dogs out and maybe help get a few adopted? We'll have to see!
Anyway, here are a few photos of Molly and Karmen enjoying the pool.
OH and by the way, you can also find Molly and Karmen on one of my FAVORITE websites of all time.... DOGSTER below are links to the girls' actually little pages.
