Newborn Session -- Atreyu

I just love newborns! They are so sweet and tiny, and new.  Their little baby feetsies get me every single time.  I am lucky enough to currently be living quite close to a newborn that is only a little bit younger than my own nephew.  So of course the little cutie came over for some pictures.

Due to scheduling conflicts he didn't get a fully session, but there will be many more photos later on!

This little guy is full of intense looks, and is not one of those newborns who would prefer to sleep through everything.  He was very much wide awake and curious as to everything going on around him.  Very much the wiggly worm.  Who can get past that cuteness?

The Black and White Project

Have been doing some black and white photos here and there and there has always just been something about black and white photos that are just classic.  There is no distractions from colors, just simple black and white, simply gorgeous.  I've had fun playing around here and there with black and white images and look forward to doing more later.

Truman's Session

I've known Truman, for about 2 years now.  He's the sweetest German Shepherd one could ever hope to meet.  Truman is a big tall handsome guy.  Recently, he had become ill, and it was cancer.  Truman was already up there in years so the cancer took it's toll quickly.  His family decided an end of life session was in order, and so we met and photos were snapped of this handsome boy.  He gave us a few moments of "his old self" and it was so great to see.  Truman will be so greatly missed.  He was greatly loved by his family and so many that came into contact with him.  I know I for one was quite smitten with the sweet fella! I will miss seeing him and giving him scratches behind the ears.

O'Neil Family Session

A couple of weeks ago some of my favorite people from Oklahoma came up to visit for their spring break.  I've known this adorable and wonderful family for literally, years.  We met back in like 2003 or 2004 through, a BLOG of all things! I was a top blogger on Yahoo 360 (which was a blogging community that is no longer around, but I very much miss).  We just kind of "clicked" (so to speak), and have been good friends since then.

Last year Rachael and her darling daughters decided they wanted to MEET us! I was absolutely thrilled, so they drove 8 hours all the way up here and spent several days visiting.

Apparently they decided our family wasn't too crazy and they came back again this year.

While they were here we enjoyed going bowling, and making cupcakes, and just visiting.  We decided that some photos were in order, so that's exactly what we did!

Thanks for coming to visit!
